Peso Priced Item.   Antique Automaton Singing Bird in Cage.                  This measures 6 1/2 ' diameter and 1 1 " tall. Good condition, the bird is singing, needs very careful cleaning of her feathers. Mainspring is not broken!  T
his is marked Ambercrombie and Fitch, which started under that name in 1904. Also marked Made in France. We're dating it around the 1920's.. Since they were founded as a hunting goods provider, this sort of novelty would have appealed to their clientele.
