This lovely old desk is a copy of the famous Spanish Colonial desks called Bargueño..
A portable desk the Virreyes would travel with. The top and bottom used to be two pieces for the convenience of moving by carriage.
This one is a very simple copy but it is hand painted and features the drop front desk.
It measures 62" tall, 41" wide and 18" deep.
Very good condition.
