Vintage Tonala Brunido Planter,  Signed "Solis - Tonala - Mex".
Solis is known for the burnished heads, many of which are banks.  This color and imagery are rare to me but the signature tells no more than the family name, not the individual artist.  A great piece that I am dating in the 1950's, the color is a major factor in my dating..
10" diameter and 10" tall. 
  Very good condition.  From my personal collection of Mexican pottery.
