Marble Sculpture by John Bartolomeo, (1923-2012)

Priced in Mexican Pesos. John Bartolomeo (1923 - 2012) was active/lived in Chicago, Illinois and late in life in Arizona. John Bartolomeo is known for Architecture, design, sculpture. His ancestry was Italian where he went fot many years to study art.  He designed several landmark mid century commercial buildings in the Chicago area, all have since been torn down.  His sculptures were rare and always in this modern style.  This is signed and dated.  Looks like it says '95 which would have made him 72 at the time he made this one.  This was created in Arizona. The torso measures 19" high sitting on a base that measures 16" by 14".. Excellent condition.
