Nahavand rugs are among the finest woven in the Hamadan region of western Iran. Although Hamadan and Nahavand rugs are closely related, Nahavand rugs are recognized for their higher quality and distinctive weaving techniques, including a variation of the Lilihan style with a single-weft construction.
