This painting depicts a traditional scene from years past .. a woman washing the family laundry on the shores of Lake Chapala (they don't do that in our areas of the lake any longer)
Javier Ramos Salazar is a self taught artist .. quite an accomplishment for sure!
40" wide and 48" tall. Framed. Very good condition.
We received 3 paintings by Javier from a recent Estate. The owners arrived in Ajijic around 1990 and began immediately to acquire local art .. they had a "good eye" as we say, in the works that they chose back then.
