# Parota Dining Table, 6 Chairs, Rangel Hidalgo Style,

$36,000.00Precio

Priced in Mexican Pesos. Parota Dining Table, 6 Chairs, Rangel Hidalgo Style.  I say ´style´ because the maker was a craftsman at the co-op and made this set for himself.  Later selling it to a friend, whose grandchild is now the consignor. He reinforced the table top with an iron ring underneath, the likes of which I had not seen. Perhaps his experience in fabrication led him to believe it would improve stability (it did!).  That is a very large piece of Parota that could have warped with time ..but did not!

Notice the elegant design on the chair backs. PURE Rangel Hidalgo!!  When produced at the co-op for sale as a Rangel Hidalgo product the backs would have been painted.

This comes with 6 parota chairs; 46" tall backs, seat height is 19".

The table has a diameter of 55" and is 31" high.

From the small town of Comala, Colima ( a true Pueblo Magico).

The cooperative there was founded by 2 of the Rangel Hidalgo brothers in the 60's.

The height of it's productivity was in the 1960s and 70's.

All hand made of high quality materials, hand painted, excellent craftsmanship.

You never see a piece of Rangel Hidalgo furniture that is wobbly or coming apart.
