Vintage Brunido Jarron - Flor de Tonala Design

This is decorated in what we used to call the Art Deco design, popular in the 30´s and 40´s in Tonala (the design is known as Flor de Tonala by the artists).
This is from my private collection. It measures approx. 18" diameter and 22" tall.
Some light loss to the decoration around the opening due to 70-80 yrs of cleaning.
Also, even though it was in my home for decades I never saw a crack/repair on one side in the bottom area. It is stable, not opening, but it is visible from that angle.
A hard to find size, these get cracked pretty easily. This piece was exhibited at Casa Iteso Clavigero in Guadalajara Oct, 2023 until March 2024.

(These were sold in Tlaquepaque leading many people, myself included, to designate their origins to Tlaquepaque but in reality this is the work of the craftsmen in Tonala!)
